Happy New Year!

The holiday season is a wonderful time of the year, full of friends and the joy of giving and a twinkling everywhere you go that magically brightens each road you go down.

It's also one of the busiest. If youʼre anything like the majority of people, the hustle and bustle of getting everything done just might have gotten in the way of you taking a moment to reflect on the year.

So maybe today, on January 4th, youʼre thinking back over 2011 and contemplating your progress. Maybe you had a fantastic year and achieved all the results you wanted. Maybe you hit the mark on some things and missed it on others?

Either way, I want to encourage you to give yourself a gift right now...by taking a minute, just a minute...to reflect on the 365 days of 2011. There are lessons to be learned from every moment, every decision you made and each action you took.

I believe itʼs critical to understand your accomplishments and what position you were in (that you didnʼt like) that motivated you to go out and achieve your goals. Itʼs also Imperative to understand what prevented you from getting some of your other goals. Was it excuses? Were your goals set to high? Were they YOUR goals or were they someone elseʼs imposed on you?

And then decide what you will do differently in 2012.

Think of this time as your Opportunity Book.  I love this quote:

“We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to
put words on them ourselves. The book is called
Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day.”
- Edith Lovejoy Pierce -

The next 365 days are your days...your days to decide what you will do with your life and how much you will follow through on the decisions you make.

On a personal note, I want you to know that I appreciate you...and all you are doing to improve your life.  You making improvements and shifts in your life is why we do what we do.

A Happy New Year to you and your family from myself, Debra and our entire team.
